Pay by card or bank transfer

Every 3Descu offer shows two prices in €. The headline is the bank transfer price, which is the price we recommend. Below it, smaller, is the standard price, which applies when you pay by card or PayPal. You choose the payment method when you accept the offer, and the invoice carries the price for that method. This page explains both prices, the invoice and each payment method, so your purchasing and finance teams can choose before the first order.

Two prices on every offer: bank transfer price and standard price

The bank transfer price is the number you see first in the calculator, on the offer and in the offer email. It is the lowest price for your order and the one we recommend.

The standard price is shown next to it, in smaller type. It is the price for paying by card through a secure Stripe link, or by PayPal, which is available on request. Choosing bank transfer saves you the difference between the two.

How invoicing works at 3Descu

Nothing is charged when you see a price in the calculator or when you submit a quote. A person at 3Descu reads every quote, confirms the price and shipping, and replies by email the same business day.

The steps from offer to payment:

  1. You accept the offer and choose the method: bank transfer is preselected as the recommended option, and card or PayPal uses the standard price

  2. The invoice arrives by email in €: it carries the price for the method you chose

  3. The invoice email shows bank transfer first: account holder, IBAN, BIC and the invoice number to use as the payment reference

  4. A secure card payment link follows below: a Stripe page prefilled with the invoice data

Orders over €500 paid by bank transfer can be split 50/50: half to start production, half before shipping. Card and PayPal payments are always made in full upfront.

Bank transfer: the recommended method

Bank transfer is the method we recommend, and the bank transfer price is the lowest price for your order. The invoice total is the amount you transfer.

Pay in € to the IBAN on the invoice and quote the invoice number as the payment reference, for example 3DEUR 0320. The reference lets the payment be matched to your order without a follow-up email. A transfer fits a standard purchasing workflow, because it runs through the same approval steps as any other supplier invoice.

Card payment through a secure Stripe link

Card payment suits a team that buys on a company card or needs the order moving without a transfer approval cycle. Choose card when you accept the offer and the invoice carries the standard price. The link in the invoice email opens a payment page run by Stripe, prefilled with the invoice amount and reference.

What to expect on the card payment page:

  • The invoice amount, nothing added: the page charges the invoice total, and nothing is ever added on top of an invoice

  • 3D Secure: Stripe applies 3D Secure authentication when your card issuer asks for it, for example a confirmation in your banking app

  • Your card data stays with Stripe: the card number is entered on Stripe's page and never reaches 3Descu

  • A receipt: Stripe emails a receipt for the card payment to the address you enter on the payment page

PayPal is available on request: ask when you accept the offer, and it uses the standard price.

Invoiced and paid in €

Every 3Descu quote, invoice and payment is in €. There is no conversion step on our side, and the price you choose on the offer is the price on the invoice. If your company pays from an account in another currency, your bank or card issuer converts it at their own rate.

VAT invoices for EU businesses

Invoices are issued by TREIDESCUPRINT SRL, the registered company that trades as 3Descu, and the bank account is held in that name. An EU business with a valid VAT number, checked in VIES, is invoiced under reverse charge, so no VAT is added and you account for it in your own country. Without a valid VAT number the invoice carries Romanian VAT. Put your VAT number on the quote and the invoice is issued correctly the first time.

What happens after you pay

Once the payment is in, your order moves to its next stage:

  • Full payment, or the first half of a 50/50 bank transfer order over €500: production is scheduled and the delivery date confirmed with your order

  • The second half of a 50/50 bank transfer order: the parcel ships with DPD, GLS, Cargus, FedEx or DHL, and tracking is sent when it leaves

  • Following the order: sign in to the customer portal with the email address the order was filed under to see its stage and message us about it

Photos of your parts are available on request at any stage, and a dimensional QC report is free on orders over €500.
