Get a 3D printing price in under a minute

Upload your file, pick a material and a quantity, and a real price and a real delivery window appear on screen. No account, no form to wait on, and nobody calls you first. Most suppliers in this segment reply to a request for quotation in one to three working days. This one answers while the file is still open in your CAD window.

What the instant quote actually does

The calculator reads the geometry of your file: it measures the volume of the part, applies the material you picked and the settings you chose, and returns a price and a delivery window for the quantity you asked for. It is a real price, not a bracket and not a guide. The number you see is the number that goes on the offer unless something in the file needs a person, and when that happens you are told what and why rather than quietly re-quoted.

It works on STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP and STP files, up to 50 MB each, and several files in one go come back as one quote covering the whole basket. STEP and STP files from SolidWorks, Fusion 360 and CATIA are converted automatically on upload, so a solid model needs no converting first.

What you need before you start

A file. That is the whole list. No account, no company name, no VAT number and no phone number are needed to see a price, and nothing is charged or committed at the point where the number appears. Minimum order is €20.

If you are not sure which material to pick, pick anything and change it afterwards: the price updates instantly, so comparing PETG against ABS costs seconds rather than three more emails.

What the instant quote cannot price

It prices geometry. Four things go to a person instead:

  • A material that is not on the list. Type the exact name you need and an engineer replies with a price for it rather than a substitute.

  • A stated tolerance. Send the drawing with the file and it is answered directly rather than approximately.

  • A part larger than the machines. Anything over 500 x 500 x 500 mm in filament or 300 x 250 x 250 mm in resin is split into printable sections, and we advise where, or it is quoted by hand.

  • A finishing operation that has to be specified: a colour match, a smoothed surface, an insert pressed in. Say it in the notes and it is priced properly.

If your mesh has open edges, the measured volume can be off in either direction, and so can the price on screen. The mesh is repaired before printing and the weight is confirmed from the repaired version before you are invoiced.

What happens after you submit

Every quote is read by a person here before anything is invoiced. If the calculator has priced something oddly, in either direction, it is corrected and the change is explained in the reply. You get an offer by email, the same business day. Nothing is charged before you say yes. The price shown is the bank transfer price, the method we recommend. A standard price for card or PayPal is shown next to it, and you choose the method when you accept. The invoice then arrives by email in €, with bank transfer details first and a secure card payment link below them.

After you accept, the part goes into production and ships with DPD, GLS, Cargus, FedEx or DHL. The calculator shows the delivery window for your destination before you submit, and Express production is offered where it shortens the wait.

From the moment the order is filed you can follow it yourself: sign in with the address the order was filed under to see where it is and message us about it. Track an existing order

Your files

Files are encrypted in transit and at rest in EU storage, and deleted automatically 90 days after upload. If you need a signed NDA before you upload anything, ask for one: it is signed fast once the text is agreed.

17 materials priced instantly

PLA and PETG for visual and light duty parts, ABS and ASA where heat or sunlight matters, nylon and carbon fibre filled grades where a part must not flex or wear, polycarbonate and PC-ABS where something weaker has already failed, TPU where the job is to bend, and resin where the detail is finer than a nozzle can lay down. Each has a page saying what it is good at and what it is wrong for.

If you would rather talk to a person first

Some parts are a conversation rather than an upload: a design that is not printable as drawn, a run that needs splitting across materials, or a question about whether printing it is the right idea at all. Book a 15 min call and it is answered by someone who runs the machines.
